HOW DID YOU MEET?

Surprisingly enough, Jacob and I initially connected through Facebook Dating. What began as a just a picture and a name quickly unfolded into something deeper as we discovered mutual connections in our lives. During our first date, it became evident that our paths had been intertwined not just by family ties but also by shared friendships. Leaving that day, both of us felt an undeniable certainty that we had finally found the person we had been searching for.

YOUR PROPOSAL STORY

On December 10th, Jacob guided me up the stairs of Post Houston, leading us to the rooftop of enchanting Christmas lights. Along a path illuminated by twinkling lights, we found ourselves in the perfect spot, overlooking Houston’s mesmerizing skyline. To my surprise, our families emerged, adding to the magic of the moment.

With the skyline as the background, Jacob knelt before me, pouring out his heart with expressions of love, gratitude, and dreams for our shared future. In a moment I had long dreamed of, he asked the question that would forever change our lives.

Overwhelmed with joy, tears filled my eyes as I said YES! Now, whenever we look upon the skyline, it serves as a reminder of our unwavering commitment and the boundless love we share.

GOING INTO YOUR ENGAGMENT SESSION, WHAT WAS MOST IMPORTANT TO YOU?

Jacob and I both wanted to build a connection with the photographer to feel comfortable and relaxed, resulting in a more natural and genuine photo.

My favorite part of the engagement shoot was not just about the stunning backdrop of downtown Houston, but also the transformative experience of feeling beautiful, confident, and empowered in front of the camera.
