HOW DID YOU MEET?

In 2017 I moved back to Houston, TX after working in Orlando, FL at my absolutely favorite place, Walt Disney World! Upon my return to Houston, I really needed to find a job so I started applying anywhere and everywhere. On the first day of work, I was getting a tour of the office and that’s when Clark and I locked eyes. After the first day we couldn’t stop looking at each other and finally decided it was time to go on a date. An unexpected office crush turned into marriage.

HOW DID YOUR PROPOSAL HAPPEN?

I was planning a birthday trip for myself to Walt Disney World while Clark was planning the proposal of my dreams, On October 3rd, we walked up to the castle to take photos in front of the castle but little did I know that Clark was about to propose. He proposed in front of the Walt Disney World Castle in front of all my family. It was truly something special to share that with everyone.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR WEDDING

When planning my wedding I really tried to be very different and untraditional. I wanted my family to feel special and relaxed all day. Instead of bridesmaids, I had my 4 brothers stand with me and had my sister as my MOH. There was no one I wanted more up there with me than my family. I also wanted it to be very Disney like, but elegant so I went for a ball gown sparkly dress with blues, whites, and silver colors. Everything tied it perfectly for my winter wedding. I also loved that I had both my parents walk me down the aisle together.

FAVORITE WEDDING DAY MOMENTS

My favorite thing about my wedding day is that no matter where I looked or turned too, everyone was having a great time. Guest and vendors included. I knew I wanted it to be fun for everyone involved and they all had a great time.

ADVICE FOR NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES

My advices to brides is to start planning early and research every vendor. Take some time to relax so you don’t get stressed. Make a list so you don’t forget things and on the day of your wedding, sit back, relax, and be in the moment, this is the day you’ve been working so hard for. Enjoy every minute!
