When it comes to maternity portraits, I love studio sessions. Don’t get me wrong outdoor sessions are amazing too but I’ve had so many mamas cut their outdoor session short because it was too hot and uncomfortable. In Houston, there are only a few months where outdoor sessions are bearable.

This mama really wanted an outdoor session but opted for a studio session and here is why:

She was paying to have her hair and makeup done.

She wanted multiple outfit changes.

She had an event later that day.

She picked a studio she loved.

Being that the weather had been a steady 100 degrees with humidity this time of year, I think she made the right decision! She also loved how the photos turned out!
